      An editorial is presented which discusses health care accessibility for Latino immigrants in the U.S., including the role of U.S. public health in altering the narrative surrounding immigrants' use of public services, their lack of health insurance and the health disparities of Latinos. An overview of the risk of Latino immigrants face in developing cardiovascular dis-ease (CVD) is provided.
